This practice is best done in the morning before you even get out of bed. If you can, let it be the first thing you do as you wake up. It’s a beautiful way to start your day, consciously connecting to your body and cultivating Loving Presence and appreciation for yourself. And of course any time that works is great.
Do this practice every day and feel your self-love grow exponentially!
Use my guided meditation or set a timer for the amount of time you want to spend on each round. 5 minutes each is a good place to start and eventually increase the time as feels good. If you have the Insight Timer app, you can set a 15 minute timer with interval bells every 5 minutes, then you don’t have to fuss with the timer every 5 minutes.

1st round: Conscious breath – take deep full conscious breaths into your body – directing the breath to the tips of your toes and work your way up with loving awareness and gratitude for each part of your body. In and out through your mouth, brings the energy of rejuvenation and rebirth but breath in whatever way feels good. Letting out sound on the exhale can help move energy and release tensions.
2nd round: Conscious movement with breath and sound – start moving your body with loving awareness, breathing health and vitality into your joints, muscles and organs, waking your body up gently and lovingly. Move in whatever way feels really good.
3rd round: Conscious touch with breath and sound. Rub your hands together vigorously and place your hands on various places on your body that feels nourishing and loving. Touch and massage every part of your body with love and care (face, ears, scalp, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, hands, fingers, belly, hips, buttocks, sex organs, legs, feet and toes). Let every part of you feel loved and cared for. Place your hands over your eyes, tap your thymus (boosts immune system), massage your breasts. Connect to your whole body with a feeling of love and appreciation. Take some time to be still and tune into the wisdom of your body. Breath, relax, listen, allow.
To end: place one hand on your heart, one hand on your belly and say a prayer of blessing to yourself. Affirm love and appreciation for yourself, your body and your life.
